Diego es enviado por sus padres al campamento de Pompilio Calderón. Allí encuentra el carro abandonado de su abuela Pola, y siguiendo sus huellas llega a un misterioso portal hacia otra dimensión. Cuando Diego descubre un poderoso secreto familiar, comprende que debe proteger la dimensión que ha hallado, pero la misión no es tan simple: Pompilio y su secuaz Claudio harán todo lo posible para destruir ese mundo fantástico al que han logrado entrar.
